Behind-The-Scenes at our January Photoshoot

Behind-The-Scenes at our January Photoshoot

I thought it would be fun to share some images from behind-the-scenes at our photoshoot this weekend! My photographer is a very good friend, so I am SUPER lucky. Our photoshoots are basically just us hanging out with our kids in woolies. Honestly, it could be any given weekend... but this weekend I came on a mission. I had a list of shots that I wanted and a big tub of woolies so we get all the colors and sizes represented. I needed "lifestyle" images with our new Ultra Cozy line, and I really wanted to get some. We invited some friends with kids out to play, got them dressed in woolies and went on an adventure!

This time we decided to head down to Mosquito Lake (yep, that is what it's called lol) and go ice fishing. We knew the fishing was pretty good yesterday, so we wanted to capture the excitement of catching a fish on camera (we caught 2 big ones!). It wasn't "sunny" but it was a warm day (for Alaska ;), so kids stayed toasty in their Ultra Cozy layers. We also made a little fire, which helped too.

Hannah, the photog, did her thing while Amanda and I made the fire, helped with fishing, got snacks going. We were an all-lady crew and did an excellent job in all of it (fish caught, fire started, minimal tears and no injuries), if I do say so myself :). The kids had a ton of fun, we got AMAZING photos, win-win. Great day overall. I just wished we could have stayed longer and caught even more fish! Can't wait to show you the edited photos and update the website.

Until then...

Let's Go Outside and Play!

❤️ Julia
