We ordered two sets of the essential crew and leggings set for my son for the winter and they have been amazing! They’re so soft, and they layered really well as base layers on the cold days of winter or as his only layer during cooler spring days. I felt like they were wonderful at regulating his temperature so even if some places kept it warm inside, he never seemed too warm in them. I tried to avoid really rough/dirty play in them as my baby’s only layer because I want them to last a long time, so I can’t speak to that. But I love these and will definitely order the next size up when he outgrows this pair.
Wow! I can not say enough great things about these layers. I have a set for each of my kids (5,4, and 1 yr old). While I knew a wool layer would be nice for my kiddos I did not expect to get the level of use out of them that I have! These layers have kept my kiddos warm, dry, and comfortable for multiple days while on a snowmachining trip in Denali State Park, they were the perfect base layer under overalls (and even fancy dresses) during our springbreak trip to Kachemak Bay, and have been a go to layer for cold days at home! I love that they can be worn for multiple days in a row and how they just keep getting softer and softer!
Absolutely love our woolies. The colors are amazing, the fabric is soft, and my kids want to wear theirs on repeat, and sometimes they do...up to three days in a row. Just bought this crew neck for my daughter, and the moment I opened the box she was screaming for it (in typical 15 month old fashion). Love wildhaven!
We've wanted a pair for awhile and I'm so glad we decided to go for it! After trying them on our son wouldn't take them off, he loved how comfy and soft they were. My daughter LOVES her new jogger set. Perfect for ice fishing or cross country skiing base layers. It keeps her warm and comfortable. She says it’s her new favorite outfit so sometimes she doesn’t even wear mid layers over the base layers. I personally love that the band of the joggers are wide so the pants stay up. So cute!

I absolutely love these wools. Bought them for both daughters, in 2t-4t and 4-6. They are durable, worn 3 days per week all winter for 2 years of forest school and still going strong. The only reason I took one star off is because I feel the top is smaller than the bottom of the set. (Not the arm length but the waist to shoulders.) Both of my daughters will outgrow the tops long before the bottoms, so they seem mismatched for us. Maybe I should have gone up a size in the top rather than doing the set-- I might recommend that if your kids are long waisted like mine. Regardless, they have lasted a long while, especially for kids clothing, and my forest schooler reported being warm and comfortable. I would recommend them to anyone who is outside a lot in the winter.
These adorable wool layers have enabled so many memorable adventures with my boys in varying weather conditions. Without the right layers these adventures would not be possible.
